Max-Tech

OUR LATEST PRODUCT: Here, we dive into your basics and single out where you can improve the absolute most.
In a few fun days, you will • get a read on your physics • learn ski technique • How to use roller skis • How you need to train your body for skiing • How to become a stronger, faster, and more efficient skier • Integrate a philosophy with what your end target is • Equipment philosophy and refinements etc etc
All this takes place at Holmenkollen, the epicenter of Norwegian ski Heritage, and can be done all year around, as we have an indoor ski arena at SNØ that is optimal for working on details.

This is a personal 1:1 or for small teams, and you will work with a series of highly specialized trainers and guides to make this the biggest leap to take in your preparations.

This is booked only by direct contact: MAIL US!

1:1 - Exclusive

This is to hardcore hone your skills before heading out. Probably, or maybe (?) on a Solo Expedition.
It will be just you and an Ousland IPGA guide, relentlessly digging into details: • sled packing • camp setup • routines • efficiency • safety, • navigation.
This is done, probably in a National Park or in the snow somewhere in Norway. First, you work together for a couple of days. Then, you are let loose on your own before meeting up for a debrief. By then, you know where you stand… MAIL US!

The Finse Polar Training

This is a hugely popular ‘weekend’. We call it the ‘Bare Minimum’ of what you need to either go on a big trip - or find out what it is all about.
From Thursday to Sunday, we are partly indoor / partly outdoor and go through a myriad of topics in an intense, varied and fun gathering.

Shop till you drop

…or the contrary? Oslo and Norway are to polar equipment what Paris and Milano are to fashion. The heritage, the latest, the best, the ‘haute couture’ of survival in harsh conditions are found here.

As the Norwegian Krone is embarrassingly weak, prices are pretty good there. Come shopping with us, and you'll get ‘our prices’ in specialized / outdoor / winter-extreme shops like Piteraq.
If you bring it with you out of the country, you may even get the V.A.T. back.

We at Ousland actually believe shopping is both fun and an understanding enhancer! Spending time discussing, looking at, and fine-tuning your equipment list may be one of the best preparation tools you have.

It's up to you whether you come here - or do it digitally via a Zoom / Teams / WhatsApp call. Weare ready!

This is where we can fit into your plans: • help with formalities / logistics • route planning • strategy • equipment / nutrition lists • 24/7 support / home base • weather en route • training, and understanding what their undertaking really craves. MAIL US!

Prepare on and enjoy Norway’s Big Classics!

Many want to do two-in-one and tick off a great trip while learning the ropes. This is also a great way for you to get to know us - and vise versa.
All the trips are really great, but they vary on difficulty and hardship. Be sure that you choose the one that is best for where you stand in your progress.
Our 4 most popular are: Crossing Finnmarksvidda, Newtontoppen (at Svalbard), Svartisen, and Hardangervidda (click on each destination)
